Hello!

I’m Ksenia, a graphic designer and illustrator based in Moscow.

My story began in the small and beautiful city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, in East Kazakhstan, at the heart of the Rudny Altai. I spent my childhood there, surrounded by rocky mountains, a mountain river, and bright blue skies. I think this landscape has shaped the way I see the world in many ways.

I graduated from the Novosibirsk State Academy of Architecture and Arts with a degree in Environmental Design. The experience I gained there became an important foundation for my professional path in design.

Moving to Moscow opened a new chapter for me. I began working in graphic design, collaborating with major Russian companies, and continued my professional education at the British Higher School of Art and Design, where I studied Editorial Design. Over time, I joined publishing teams and worked on magazines such as Yes!, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, and SNC.

I always found my way back to drawing, and gradually it became an essential part of my creative practice. My artistic mentors included Sasha Balashova, Ilya Mitroshin, and Aksinya La Paloma. This path led me to take part in various creative competitions and collaborations, and eventually to develop projects of my own. For me, illustration is no longer simply an extension of design, but a way to explore the world and talk about the things that fascinate me.

I love creating illustrations that invite you to linger and look a little longer.

Animals often become the protagonists of my work. I feel that they offer a particularly natural way to speak about tenderness, irony, and human emotions.

I’m inspired by vintage postcards, fashion, decorative arts, nature, and the small symbols that bring a story to life.

I enjoy observing, finding inspiration in the familiar, collecting visual impressions, and transforming them into images of my own.

I’m open to new projects with brands, publishers, and creative projects.
